Privacy policy

Oishii is a meal planner. We keep what the app needs to plan your week and nothing more. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other sites.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address, and a hashed password.
- What you put in the app: recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, pantry items, and recipe photos.
- Basic technical data: request logs and error reports, kept briefly so we can run the service and fix faults.
How we use it
To run Oishii: signing you in, saving your plans, building your shopping list, and reading recipes you import so they arrive as structured ingredients and steps.
Cookies
One cookie, which keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Who processes your data
Two providers process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — hosting, photo storage, and the model that reads imported recipes.
- PlanetScale — the database that stores your account and your plans.
We share your data with no one else, except where the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we remove it, along with your plans, lists, and photos.
Your choices
You can edit or delete anything you have added at any time, and you can ask for a copy of your data or its deletion by email.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date above and post the new version here.
